Several buggy tours are offered in the North, South and along the Atlantic coast of Martinique. Depending on the chosen option, explore Basse-Pointe and the foothills of Mount Pelée, the landscapes of Sainte-Anne in the far South, or the farmland and Galion Bay on the Atlantic coast.
Buggy tours last 2 or 3 hours depending on the route. A one-hour quad bike tour is also available.
Led by instructors, these excursions allow you to combine the discovery of Martinique, nature and the thrill of driving your own vehicle.

Starting from Pointe Marin in Sainte-Anne, this 2-hour tour takes you to discover the idyllic, postcard-perfect landscapes of the island's far south. Behind the wheel of your buggy, you will travel along unique country paths; As soon as you gain a little elevation, coves and beaches with crystal-clear waters come into view… Along the way, you catch sight of the ruins of an old sugar mill at the foot of the Piton Crève-Cœur volcano, and enjoy exceptional views of Le Marin marina and Baie des Anglais.

What can we discover during the 4x4 excursion?
The excursion allows you to discover a wilder side of Martinique: tropical vegetation, plantations, waterfalls, rivers, northern roads, a distillery, natural landscapes, breathtaking viewpoints and various stops selected according to the itinerary.
How many people can join the excursion?
Our 4x4 vehicles have 7 seats, allowing 6 passengers plus the guide. During high season, 2 or 3 vehicles may operate at the same time, each with its own experienced guide.
Do we travel through the rainforest?
Yes. Northern Martinique is well known for its particularly lush and tropical vegetation.
How long does the excursion last?
The excursion is a full-day trip, usually from around 7:00/7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Return time may be slightly later depending on traffic.
Can we swim during the day?
Yes. A swimming stop is planned at a waterfall.
Where does the excursion depart from?
Departure is available from Pointe du Bout, Anse Mitan or Rivière-Salée.
What is included in the excursion?
Tastings and entrance to the distillery, snacks featuring local flavours, and a traditional Creole lunch in a local home are included.
Is the excursion suitable for children?
Yes. Our 4x4 vehicles can accommodate families with up to 6 passengers.
Is this a good excursion for a first visit to Martinique?
Yes. It combines local culture, tropical fauna and flora, local tastings and spectacular scenery.
Should we book in advance?
Yes, especially during school holidays and busy tourist periods in Martinique.
What should we bring?
Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear are recommended. Also bring sun protection, swimwear, a towel, a bottle of water if you get thirsty during the journey, and a change of clothes.
Do I need to be physically fit?
No. Most of the excursion takes place in the vehicle, although some stops may require short walks.
