FAQ

When should I book my excursion?

Always book a few days in advance, especially from December to May (high season) when there can be a wait of between 3 and 10 days depending on the excursion!

Are there any possible packages?

Yes, we also offer packages with several excursions; you often have a small gift waiting for you on site when you book packages!

Is there a minimum or maximum number of passengers?

This varies depending on the excursion; in high season (December to May) almost all excursions are fully booked every day, especially during school holidays!

In low season however, excursions do not depart every day, and require a minimum number of people for them to take place, generally 4 people for land excursions and 6 to 8 people for sea excursions.

However, you or your group do not need to have a minimum number of people.

As for the Maximum, our largest catamaran can accommodate up to 40 passengers and our motorboats 12/14 passengers and the land packages are limited to 18 passengers for the 4x4 (3 vehicles of 6 passengers / day), the buggy max 27 passengers for the North and 12 passengers for the other packages.

What about the "WEATHER"?

In Martinique, which has a tropical climate, the weather remains very unpredictable; it changes very rapidly.

Therefore, avoid relying on your phone for your reservations.

A shower in the early morning does not mean that the rest of the day will be rainy.

The best solution is to book your excursion in advance so that it can be rescheduled in case of cancellation due to weather.

Please note that cancellations due to weather will be made by the service provider, not by you. The service provider has more accurate marine weather forecasts and will decide whether the excursion can take place or not. In this case, you will be offered a refund of your deposit or an alternative date.

I became ill or I have an unforeseen circumstance, can I still get a refund?

Our refund policy is very simple and clear: if you are sick or have an impediment 48 hours in advance we will refund your deposit, after 48 hours ONLY the presentation of a medical certificate or proof of repatriation will validate a refund.

Please note that if you are a group (2, 4, or more), if one person is ill, the refund will be made for that sick person and not for the entire group. The other members of the group who can participate in the excursion will have the choice to participate or lose their deposits.

What drinks are served during excursions?

We are in Martinique! The land of GOOD rum! So most of our excursions are geared towards this, most often accompanied by local fruit juices; other alcoholic drinks are rarely offered besides wine at the table for the most part!

However, if you wish, you can bring your favorites and we will keep them cool (for sea excursions)!

I don't know how to swim, can I still participate?

Most of our excursions do not require you to be an excellent swimmer, or even to know how to swim, to enjoy them.

During swimming stops, depending on the package, you can either be dropped off directly on the beach or enjoy an aperitif with the crew!

Turtles are often visible from the boat, although seeing them while swimming with masks and snorkels is more fun!

For Josephine's Bath we can stand at every swimming stop, since we have drinks on the Fonds Blancs!

I have allergies, what should I do?

Please be sure to mention it when you make your reservation; we will do everything we can to accommodate your allergy. We also have vegetarian menus for those who don't eat fish or chicken.

We have young children or babies, can we participate?

Of course, all excursions are possible with children or even babies; for babies, we recommend the catamaran option with toilets for changing babies!

What should we bring back for our excursion?

Our advice is to bring:

- For boat trips: Masks, snorkels, swimming gear, towel, light shoes (bare feet on board the boats), coral-friendly sunscreen, sunglasses, hats or caps, phone or camera, a small cash tip for your guide or crew is always welcome!

-for land excursions: Closed shoes, water bottle, swimming gear, change of clothes, camera or phone, hats or caps, sunscreen, a small cash tip for your guide or crew is always welcome!
