Catamaran Day Trip South Martinique Diamond Rock
Embark on a catamaran day trip in the South of Martinique and discover some of the most beautiful landscapes on the Caribbean coast.
Starting from Pointe du Bout in Trois-Îlets, sail towards the famous Diamond Rock before discovering Anses-d'Arlet, their fishing villages and their crystal clear waters.
Several swimming and snorkeling breaks are planned during the day, particularly in areas frequented by sea turtles and on coral reefs rich in tropical fish.
A Creole meal is served on board the catamaran, accompanied by drinks. The journey continues along the coastline before passing by the bat cave and returning to the marina in the late afternoon.
A full day at sea to discover the South Caribbean of Martinique, including sailing, snorkeling, landscapes and Creole cuisine.
Excursion itinerary
Aboard our spacious catamarans, we depart at 8:30 am, sailing along the South Caribbean coast towards Diamond Rock. You might even be lucky enough to be accompanied by our friends the dolphins, followed by a first swimming stop at the town of Anses d'Arlet with its magnificent natural aquarium for snorkeling enthusiasts. A delicious Creole meal will be served on board, then we head to Grande Anse to swim with our friends the turtles :) On the return trip, we will make a short stop at the bat cave. A snack will be served before returning to the marina around 5 pm with a local atmosphere!

Can we see dolphins on this excursion?
Dolphins are regularly seen along the Caribbean coast of Martinique. They can be found both in the north and the south, although they are more commonly observed in the north. It is still possible to encounter them in the south, but please note that this excursion is not specifically dedicated to searching for cetaceans.
How long does the excursion last?
The excursion lasts a full day, from approximately 8:45/9:00 a.m. to 4:30/5:00 p.m.
Can we swim during the excursion?
Yes. Several swimming and snorkeling stops are planned: one with turtles, one over coral reefs, and one in a beautiful secluded spot.
Can we swim with dolphins?
No. Swimming with dolphins is strictly prohibited within the marine sanctuary and may constitute a serious offence.
Where does the South Caribbean Catamaran excursion depart from?
Departure is from Pointe du Bout Marina in Les Trois-Îlets, or from Hotel Carayou, also located in Pointe du Bout.
What is included in the excursion?
Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages, including rum and punch, a fresh fruit platter, a Creole lunch served on board with wine at the table, and an afternoon snack on the return journey.
Is the excursion suitable for children?
Yes, it is particularly suitable for families thanks to the generous space available on our catamarans, easy access to the water via a boarding ladder, and toilets on board.
